Este miércoles, el director de la Región de Salud de San Miguelito, Algis Torres, confirmó el primer caso de dengue clásico en un menor de edad residente en la barriada Jardines de Sevilla.
El menor se encuentra recluido en el Hospital del Niño en condición estable, aseguró Torres.
El segundo infante que presentaba síntomas sospechosos al dengue fue dado de alta en este hospital, luego que los análisis resultaron negativo al dengue.
Torres consideró que las estadísticas hasta el momento son bajas; sin embargo, Alcalde Díaz, con 4% y Mateo Iturralde, con 1.7%, registran aún estos niveles de infestación.
En San Miguelito el año pasado se registraron 244 casos de dengue clásico, sin defunciones, ni casos hemorrágicos.
