Ruth Castillo, en esta reunión se discutió el estado actual del proceso de reclamos médicos, como DATA MED PANAMA puede apoyar en la implementación de un sistema que acepte reclamos médicos electrónicos, y mucho más. ASSA Compañía de Seguros, líder en la industria de aseguradoras y Re-aseguradoras en Panamá esta tomando la batuta en la implementación de un sistema digital de reclamos médicos que de verdad llene las expectativas tanto de las aseguradoras como entidad receptora de reclamos médicos, como también de los proveedores de salud en panama como ente transmisor de reclamos médicos. Durante la reunión pudimos enfatizar la necesidad del sistema digital y la disponibilidad de DATA MED PANAMA de coadyuvar en este tan importante proceso. Claramente el futuro de reclamos médicos en panama apunta al establecimiento de un sistema digitalizado que permita que los proveedores puedan transmitir electrónicamente los reclamos directamente a las aseguradoras, de esa manera reduciendo dramáticamente los costos involucrados, al igual que el tiempo necesario para procesar cada reclamo.
